Mondays can be a little painful to move from the weekend back to work mode, so I want to share a motivational item every Monday to kick start our week. It’s not necessarily going to be about living on one income, although I hope more often than not that it will tie in with that theme. This is motivation in the form of a quote, a story, a video, or an article or book that I’ve read that will maybe give you something to think about, enjoy, and get us going on a Monday, especially on those rainy Mondays.
I hope all that celebrate Easter had a very wonderful Easter yesterday. We celebrated on Saturday with my husband’s family and had a wonderful dinner, even though it was 2 hours late as my oven can’t decide when it should heat up, but that’s another story.
We are now in our final week of our 10-week challenge. This week, since we are officially in Spring and although the weather here in Canada hasn’t caught up yet, I thought this week you should challenge yourself to show up as yourself. Just as Spring flowers grow in their own time, what I mean is to be yourself. Don’t feel you have to put on an act for anyone. You are who you are and some may like you and some will dislike you, but it is far easier to go through life being yourself, not what someone wants you to be. Unfortunately, most of us don’t learn this until we are in our forties or even fifties, but if you can learn early just to be yourself, there is so much stress taken off yourself. So, I want Week 10 to culminate with that – BE YOU and enjoy all that you enjoy, even if it doesn’t fit in with someone else’s life or schedule.
